DESIGN CONSULTATION
All interior design projects begin with a conversation. The interior designer will schedule a consultation within the space to discuss your vision and budget. We ask that you have some inspirational pictures on hand to get a feel of your style as well. During this meeting we will also go over the scope of work to be done. The interior designer may also take measurements of the space.
CONCEPTUAL PRESENTATION
Following the interior design consultation, the designer begins the design & creative process by researching and gathering inspiration, then presenting it to you visually. At SB Design we understand the importance of being able to VISUALIZE YOUR SPACE, which is why you will get two or three 3D rendered design options right off the bat to help you visualize your space better. These 3D design options may include some key furniture or design elements that were inspirational for the design or budget. The designt will set up a time to meet and present the ideas with a beautiful booklet that may include:
Mood board
Sketches
Floor plan, elevations
3D perspective rendering
Colour pallet ideas
Inspiration pictures
Budget outline
This is the time to make any small adjustments or add-ons to the plan. Once the floor plan is finalized we move on to furnishing and finishes.
FINAL PRESENTATION
Once the floor plan is finalized and the design ideation is approved we move on to furnishings and finishes. The interior designer will find everything necessary to take your space to a new level. Any furnishings or design elements will be added to the 3D renderings, floor plans, and elevations. We make it as easy as possible for you to visualize your space so that you are confident when making the final purchases. The designer will present a complete plan recommended for your space in a beautiful booklet. This will include:
Floor plan
Electrical plan
Reflected ceiling plan (when required)
Elevations
Working drawings (when required)
Mill-work detail (when required)
Up to 3 perspective renderings with actual suggested furniture or design elements
Colour pallet and finished schedule
Samples when available
IMPLEMENTATION
The designer will make all purchases on behalf of the client and have them delivered to the client’s home. For the final step in the interior design process, the designer will come and stage everything and add the finishing touches with accessories and placement so that your space is magazine worthy!
